About
David Rosenthal joined NCBiotech in February of 2020 as the Program Manager for Emerging Company Development. In this position, David organizes and supports programs that spur the start-up and growth of life science companies in North Carolina primarily through the Biotech Center’s active loan portfolio.
Prior to joining NCBiotech, David spent 15 years in education, educational administration, and program management. He was a classroom teacher in Durham before transitioning to educational program management, first at Duke and then at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
He obtained his undergraduate degree in biology and mathematics from Grinnell College along with a Master of Science degree in entomology and a Master of Education in teaching and learning, both from Ohio State University.
