- Take Aviation Parkway to I-40
- Take I-40 West toward Durham and Chapel Hill
- Where I-40 splits in Research Triangle Park, take Exit 279-B, bearing right onto the Durham Freeway North (147N).
- Merge and continue onto I-885.
- Take the Alexander Drive exit (Exit 7) and turn left onto Alexander.
- Go through one immediate traffic light, then turn left at the next light into the driveway opposite Parmer RTP, which includes GlaxoSmithKline.
- Go up the hill and bear right into the Biotechnology Center's driveway.
From Chapel Hill, Asheville, Greensboro, and the West
- Take I-40 East toward Raleigh
- After entering Research Triangle Park, take Exit 279-B to the Durham Freeway North (147N)
- Merge and continue onto I-885.
- Take the Alexander Drive exit (Exit 7) and turn left onto Alexander.
- Go through one immediate traffic light, then turn left at the next light into the driveway opposite Parmer RTP, which includes GlaxoSmithKline.
- Go up the hill and bear right into the Biotechnology Center's driveway.
From Downtown Durham (10-minute drive)
- Drive on the Durham Freeway South (147S and I-885)
- Take the Alexander Drive exit (Exit 7) and turn right onto Alexander.
- At the next traffic light, turn left into the driveway opposite Parmer RTP, which includes GlxoSmithKline.
- Go up the hill and bear right into the Biotechnology Center's driveway.
From Raleigh, Cary, and the East
- Take I-40 West toward Chapel Hill
- Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 279B for NC-147 N toward Durham/Downtown.
- Merge and continue onto I-885.
- Take the Alexander Drive exit (Exit 7) and turn left onto Alexander Drive.
- Go through one immediate traffic light, then turn left at the next light into the driveway opposite Parmer RTP, which includes GlaxoSmithKline.
- Go up the hill and bear right into the Biotechnology Center's driveway.
