About
Gillian Kelly joined NCBiotech in December 2021 as a data analyst. She manages the Company Directory, a comprehensive database of the life sciences companies in North Carolina and the companies that support or are related to the industry.
Prior to joining NCBiotech, Gillian worked in sales for a wedding photography company and developed a cataloging system for their archives. She also spent 7 years working for the corporate headquarters of the American Cancer Society where she supported the nationwide board of directors and managed a database of volunteer leadership.
Gillian earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and creative writing from SUNY Oswego, a master’s degree in applied anthropology from Georgia State University (her thesis was on the sociality of women through the lens of an urban knitting group), and a master’s in information sciences from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville.
