About
Maria has worked for the North Carolina Biotechnology Center since May 2016. She started as a guest services specialist, assisting guest with any questions or concerns. She also assisted with setting-up and breaking down events and finalizing details for catering. Maria was promoted to meeting planner in 2017.
Prior to working at NCBiotech, Maria worked at Kids Educational Center as a teacher for nine years. She worked with different age groups of children and loved having the opportunity to make an impact in our future generation. She also has experience in guest services at an urgent care facility and numerous experiences in the restaurant industry.
