About
Mary joined the NCBiotech corporate communications team in May 2018 as director of business development. She leads the marketing and communications team in support of NCBiotech's mission of growing life sciences in North Carolina.
Prior to joining NCBiotech, Mary held various marketing positions at an IT-focused non-profit organization, a medical device start-up that was later sold to Johnson & Johnson, and at Cisco and Verizon. She draws upon her diverse marketing background, including public relations, marketing communications, event management, lead generation, social media, digital advertising and sponsorship sales, to shape NCBiotech’s outbound marketing efforts.
Mary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in business administration from The George Washington University. She also has a professional diploma in digital marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute in Dublin, Ireland.
